Women’s March 2020
January 18 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
The March will step off at Columbus Drive and Jackson Street. It will be led by our top elected women officials* — who YOU helped sweep into office — and our marchers with disabilities and volunteer “Wayfinders.”
The route will wind through our interactive “Gallery of Issues,” where you will be cheered on by WMC’s partner organizations and learn more about several critical causes that affect us all – the 2020 Census, climate justice, gun violence prevention, health care access, and voting.
The March concludes at Federal Plaza. The city has requested that marchers disperse immediately at the plaza. However, there are plenty of (warm) restaurants and bars in the area if you would like to keep the momentum going!
*Since we first gathered in Grant Park in 2017, our marchers have worked tirelessly to support female candidates and have swept them into office in historic numbers. We are proud to have these elected women officials lead the March and serve as honorary “Wayfinders” for our marchers with disabilities!
