August 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

A virtual event, featuring Marcia Walker-McWilliams, Executive Director of the Black Metropolis Research Consortium (BMRC).

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment establishing women’s right to vote in the USA,  Chicago NOW is hosting a very special event to highlight the critical contributions of Black women in the fight for voting rights.   Ms. Walker-McWilliams will present live, followed by a Q&A.

It’s sure to be fascinating, and it’s incredibly inspiring to reclaim our proud feminist history.  Don’t miss!
