NOW Celebrates the Centennial with Sisters in Suffrage

We’re coming up on the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote in the United States — a tremendous achievement of our foremothers.

To celebrate, the National Organization for Women has launched “Changemakers of the Centennial” – a social media campaign that will coincide with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment (August 26th). Each day on social media leading up to the anniversary, we will be spotlighting “Sisters in Suffrage” and highlighting stories of these remarkable women who won our right to vote and worked (and are still working) to end voter suppression.
